Troubleshooting common issues

Post failed to publish

Cause: Token expired, platform rate limit, or media format issue.

Fix: Check the error in the post detail view. If "token expired" — reconnect the platform. If "rate limit" — wait 15 minutes and retry. If "media format" — check that images are JPEG/PNG/WebP and videos are MP4.

AI generation returned an error

Cause: AI provider timeout or network issue.

Fix: Retry the action. If the issue persists, contact support at [email protected].

Platform connection shows as disconnected

Cause: OAuth token expired or revoked.

Fix: Go to Platforms, disconnect the platform, and reconnect it to get a fresh token.

Analytics not updating

Cause: Postlore checks your post's performance a few times during its first week live. If your post was just published, allow some time for analytics to start showing up.

Fix: Wait for the next check. If data is still missing after 7 days, contact support at [email protected].

Content Score Engine showing "none" confidence

Cause: Fewer than 3 posts with engagement data yet, imported or published.

Fix: Connect your platforms: Postlore imports up to 90 days of your existing posts when you connect (see How the learning loop works for which platforms and plans). Otherwise, publish a few posts. Confidence is low from 3 posts, medium from 10 and high from 20.
