Business signals, approved facts and draft checks

Business signals (Starter plan and above)

A business signal is something your posts should answer: a question customers keep asking, a search people use, a launch, a price change, an offer or an event. Autopilot drafts from the freshest unused signal before it reworks an old post, so drafts come from what's happening in your business this week.

  • Add by hand: Insights → From your business. Pick the kind, write the topic in plain words, and add why it matters (for example "asked 14 times on WhatsApp this week") and a page that answers it.
  • Add from your own tools: an API key with the Send business signals permission, or the add_signal agent tool. See the developer guide.
  • Signals also show first in Market Pulse as suggested topics. Once Autopilot uses one, it leaves the list. You can remove any signal yourself.
  • Signals are topics, not messages: text with an email address or phone number is refused. A workspace can hold up to 200 unused signals.

Approved facts

In Brand → Approved facts, list the prices, fees, policies and rules your posts are allowed to state, one per line. For example: "Delivery is free on orders over GHS 500" or "Open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm". Up to 60 facts.

Draft checks

When you open a draft in Compose, or review one in the approval queue, Postlore lists what's worth checking before it goes out:

  • Figures and strong claims (prices, percentages, "guaranteed", "free", "best"…) that your approved facts and the draft's sources don't back.
  • Links, and whether each one answers. Only public https links are checked.
  • The draft's brief: its topic and the outcome it's meant to produce, such as a lead or a sale.

The checks don't use AI and don't change anything. They point you to the sentences to read twice, so reviewing a draft becomes a yes, edit or reject decision rather than a rewrite.

Briefs

Drafts Autopilot writes carry a short brief: topic, audience, the problem, the offer, the link, the intended outcome and the sources used (such as the business signal it came from). Agents and the API can set one on any draft. Outcomes are grouped by brief topic in the digest and on the Analytics page.
