Scheduling and publishing posts

Scheduling a post

  1. In the Composer, write your post and adapt it for each platform.
  2. Click Schedule and pick a date and time.
  3. Postlore stores the post in UTC and converts to your workspace timezone for display.
  4. At the scheduled time, Postlore publishes your post to the selected platforms.

Post statuses

  • Draft — not yet scheduled or published
  • Scheduled — queued for future publish
  • Publishing — job running right now
  • Published — live on the platform
  • Failed — publish error (see below)

If a publish fails

Postlore automatically retries a failed publish a few times before giving up. If it still doesn't go through, the post status becomes "Failed" and you'll receive an email notification with the reason. Common causes: token expired, platform rate limit, invalid media format.

Timezone handling

Each workspace has a timezone setting (default: Africa/Accra for Ghana). All scheduled times are stored in UTC. The dashboard displays times in your workspace timezone.
