A/B caption experiments

What are A/B experiments?

An experiment lets you test two caption variants for the same post on the same platform. Publish both at different times (or to different audience segments), then record which one performed better. Postlore tracks the winner and feeds it back into future suggestions.

How to run an experiment

  1. Go to Experiments in the sidebar.
  2. Click New experiment.
  3. Enter a name, select a platform, and write Variant A and Variant B.
  4. Publish both variants manually (via the Composer or directly on the platform).
  5. After 48–72 hours, return to Experiments, find the experiment, and click Record result.
  6. Enter the reach and engagement rate for each variant and pick the winner.

Available on Creator and Agency plans

A/B experiments are a Creator and Agency feature. Free and Starter plans can view experiments but cannot create new ones.
